History
Beth Sholom Players was started by Beth Sholom
Congregation's former Eductional Director Steve Friedman in
1992 with the first show being Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat in 1993. Following the departure of
Steve Friedman in 2003, Dean Malissa and Miriam Giguere
directed The Music Man in 2004. Debbie Schrager took over
co-directing responsibilities from Dean Malissa in 2005
with The Sound of Music. Donna Levin became a co-director
in 2006 with The Wizard of Oz. In 2008, the show was moved
to Gratz College, and was opened to members of the Old York
Road Kehillah.
